They sit elevated to the village with stunning views across the Cheshire Plain and will be of particular interest to those seeking the rural idyll and or, those who may also have an equestrian interest too, as there are paddocks available by separate negotiation, as well as a first class livery facility nearby.

The Local Area

Hurst Hall is situated on the outskirts of the picturesque South Cheshire village of Marbury. The village itself is renowned for its numerous mere’s, timber framed houses and village green which is overlooked by both St Michael’s Church and The Swan Public House.

The Welsh Marches railway line runs through the civil parish from the north east to the south west; the nearest stations are Wrenbury and Whitchurch. National Cycle Network Regional Route 45 follows Hollyhurst Road, while Regional Route 70 follows School Lane and Marbury Road. The South Cheshire Way long-distance footpath runs from the north east to the south west of the parish.

Since the closure of Marbury-Cum-Quoisley Church of England School in 1988, there have been no educational facilities within the civil parish. Marbury cum Quoisley falls within the catchment areas of Wrenbury Primary School in Wrenbury, and Brine Leas High School in Nantwich.

Marbury is close to Whitchurch a market town in the north of Shropshire, England. It lies 2 miles east of the Welsh border, 2 miles south of the Cheshire border, 20 miles north of the county town of Shrewsbury, 20 miles south of Chester, and 15 miles east of Wrexham.

Beautiful countryside surrounds Whitchurch inviting everyone to sample the delights of strolling along the canal, cycling through country lanes and enjoying the fresh air. The town itself offers a wealth of independent shops, cafes, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes.

The Swan at Marbury has recently been re-opened after renovation. It’s a traditional, comfortable country pub with good food and decent drinks in a quiet and beautiful spot. The new and improved Swan now features; a beautiful sun terrace that’s perfect for alfresco dining, a large light and airy Garden Room as well as a traditional bar area with comfy seating, real fires and wooden floors.
